METHYL HYDROGEN SILICONE FLUID

Methyl Hydrogen Silicone Fluid is a methyl hydrogen polysiloxane (polymethylhydrogensiloxane) with a viscosity in the range of approx. 20 to 30cst @ 25°C. The product is primarily used to treat powders to keep them dry, as an anti-caking material and is highly water-repellent. The fluid is little change in physical properties over a wide temperature range. The most significant advantage of Methyl Hydrogen Silicone Fluid is its good waterproof performance. It can cross-link into a waterproof film at a low temperature by a metal salt catalyst, and the film can be formed on the surface of various materials. According to this characteristic, the fluid can be applied as a waterproofing agent for gypsum board, plasterboard, plaster blocks, fabric, glass, ceramic, paper, leather, metal, cement, marble, etc.
